Down The Hill
Standing alone at the top of the hill, The trees are all moving and I'm standing still, My head in the clouds, I've got clouds in my head, The land may be living, but the people are dead, Down the hill, Down the hill.
I see skies of blue, trees of green, But less sign of life there than I've ever seen. Where are the people, where did they go? Whatever happened to life down below? Down the hill, Down the hill.
The curtain's fallen, the show is over, I can see, no-one here but me.
Armageddon is here, the end is at hand, And nothing is moving across the land, Prepare for thy doom, the judgement is nigh, And everyone's gone without saying goodbye, Down the hill, Down the hill.
